Its about that time folks, the latest and last Star Wars parody by Seth McFarlane is about to hit the shelves. Family Guy: It’s a Trap will be available for DVD/BluRay and digital download on Tuesday December 21st. As just mentioned, this will be the last full Star Wars episode as MacFarlane stated that he will not make any of the “prequels” for Episodes 1-3. As the previous films, It’s a Trap will follow along the lines of Return of the Jedi with of course nonsense that makes the parodies hilarious and fun to follow. The feature will be an hour long and will have some bonus content as usual discs have.
Some of the fun characters to this film will be of course Meg. In the previous films, Meg has been of course insulted by the family just to represent only small characters in the Star Wars Universe. In the first film, Blue Harvest, Meg is the Garbage shoot monster and in Something, Something Something, Dark Side, Meg appears as the asteroid cave slug. In It’s a Trap, Meg has a more prominent role, as the Sarlacc monster. Other characters in the film will be Carter Pewterschmidt as The Emperor, a goldfish as Admiral Ack Bar and Joe as Jaba the Hutt. One of the funniest parts released so far is Peter, as Han Solo, lets out a well needed fart as he is released from his carbonite prison, classic. This seems that the Family Guy cast has gone all out to make this addition to be the best in the series.
Being a huge Star Wars fan, could you tell, I am looking forward the release. Being a Family Guy fan just adds to the entire Star Wars Universe and adding more fans to the already biggest overall film franchises of all time. So prepare for light speed and pick up a copy of Family Guy: It’s a Trap on December 21st. Ill be there overnight, as a sith lord, no seriously, I will be.
