Well Batman fans it seems like it’s a weekly thing that we here at DHTG have some new info on one of the most anticipated games of this year, Batman: Arkham City. First of all if any of you have been watching March Madness on CBS, TNT, TBS or TruTV, you may have seen the full length action trailer for the game (very cool by the way). However, this isn’t the only trailer that has surfaced lately. With many screenshots and a for sure cast of new villains to combat with, we now have an actual trailer of actual gameplay along with some exciting offers for pre-releases of the game. I am sure that many of us die hard gamers will be somewhere for the Midnight release of the game, now we have a choice on where to go. Interested, well who wouldn’t be.
According to the actual Batman: Arkham City website, you can pre-order the game at any Gamestop and you will receive a special challenge map entitled, “Joker’s Carnival Challenge Map.” Another fan favorite choice for gamers has to be that of your friendly neighborhood Best Buy, which with a down payment for the game will give you a special unlock able “combo” attack by Batman. So enough talking, let’s see the trailer (drum roll please!!!)

Don’t know about you but the more and more info I read and see about this game makes me think that this will be the blueprint of how a Superhero video game will be molded after. With the first game a big success, Arkham City seems to set the tone where the original left off. Also with the inclusion of new villains such as Two-Face, Dr. Hugo Strange and hopefully Black Mask, this game will be a very popular title for both PS3 and Xbox 360. News also coming down the tubes is that The Riddler’s Challenges will be more difficult to find in this game. Many will only be found by Batman’s “Detective Mode”, the game will give the user more of a challenge than just spotting them around the huge world of Gotham City. One more challenge according to IGN.com will be that some of the The Riddler’s Challenges will actually lead Batman to find The Riddler himself in the game. While we cannot confirm this as of yet, it would bring one of the most popular villains in the Batman Universe to light in this specific game title. This and with the inclusion of the first game play trailer is drastically making fans on edge for the October 11th 2011 release date. When we hear any more info, you will definitely hear it here.
