Well, well, well. It seems the powers that be have decided to spruce up Mortal Kombat with a discount package on the upcoming DLC characters. The package, appropriately titled the Kombat Pass, with allow gamers to download the four scheduled Kombatants to be released as add-ons. Besides the already announced Skarlet, who will comboing on June 21, MK will get Kenshi, Rain and one as of yet unnamed fatality inflicter. With each of the fighter priced at 400 Microsoft Points, or $5, the pass is mostly a bargain at 1200 Points, or $15. Gamers get a “Buy 3, Get 1 Free” deal which isn’t too shabby.
L.A. Noire’s Rockstar Pass was a better deal at a 50% savings but hey, a deal is a deal. One note for the fighting fans, this is a Xbox 360 only promo. That’s right, tough luck PS3 users. The Kombat pass will be available for purchase on June 21 with Skarlet. Any geeks gonna snatch it up? What do you guys think about these offers? Win or fail? Hit the jump and let us know in the comments.
Thanks to Machinima and YouTube for the video.
