Here it is Geeks and Geekettes…The first Dark Knight Rises trailer! Since it is a teaser, there’s not much footage and part of what is there is from Batman Begins. However it does show what appears to Batman and Bane getting ready to square off. Awesome way to end a trailer for sure, the only way better would be some shots of Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle.  Somewhat disturbing is what appears to be Commissioner Gordan in a hospital bed with an oxygen mask.

The teaser calls it “The Epic Conclusion To The Dark Knight Legend” so prepare for Christopher Nolan to pull out all the stops. With an all star cast and script by Nolan and David S Goyer, it’s going to be a roller coaster.  I’ll be in line for The Dark Knight Rises on July 20th, 2012 – that is if the world doesn’t end first.
