All you Gear heads are in for a treat if you are pre-ordering Gears of War 3 at GameStop. They are officially having a Sweepstakes that’s giving away a car, Gears style. GameStop is exclusively giving away 3,600 prizes through October 3 to any and all “commando worthy” participants. The Grand prize is a 2012 Mitsubishi Lancer that’s pictured above. Sweet ride, but I had my heart set out to get an Assault Derrick or at least an Armadillo.

GameStop will also be giving away many other prizes as well, such as Flat Screen TV’s, Gears concept art (autographed of course), XBOX Live memberships, and many more. They will also be having instant winnings and 41 daily grand prize drawings. The car looks cool enough but i’m not sure it’s Gears of War enough. I personally didn’t see any imports in the previous two games, but maybe there will be burned to the ground Mitsubishi Lancer somewhere in this next game. I hope to win a new TV and some other cool things or hell at least a chainsaw lancer on their daily drawings. Read on for details.
