It seems that Microsoft and Bethesda have joined forces in another round of timed DLC exclusivity, this time with the upcoming juggernaut – Skyrim. The two companies have announced a 30 day window of exclusivity for the first two DLC packs on the Xbox 360, followed by their release on the PS3 and PC. Great news for Xbox gamers but makes for a sad Christmas time for the PS3/PC crowd out there. Depending on the release schedule, will anybody even be ready for DLC?
Of course it really should come as no surprise as all five of the expansion packs for Fallout 3 were exclusive to the Xbox 360 for a period of time, some realeased quicker than others though. I sense a renewed fan boy war and many comments about “Micro$oft sux” and “Ps3 droolz”. I’m ready to play it on Xbox 360 so it doesn’t bother me but what about you geeks? Think DLC being exclusive is a bad move or just a new way of gaming business? Hit the jump and let us know.
