In case you missed the summer blockbuster starring Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford and Olivia Wilde, December will be your chance to pick the movie up on your favorite shiny disc format. Universal Home Video has let us know that December 6th will be the day we can geek out to one of our ultimate childhood fantasies! DHTG reviewed it earlier this year and loved it, giving it an A.

The blu-ray release will come in two flavors – 2D and 3D. Each will include a bonus digital copy of the flick, an interview with Jon Favreau, a making of feature titled Igniting the Sky and a commentary by Favreau. Also included will be Universal’s U-Control and pocketBlu app, giving viewers more control over their blu-ray experience. Looks like Christmas might come a couple weeks early for us movie geeks!
