It ‘s always great to watch companies poke fun at each other, have a good ribbing or two. Samsung decided to go after the iPhone sheeple lining up for hours waiting for their new Apple branded wonder device. The video shows them complaining about the looks “How will people know I upgraded?’, talking about how “this is an event” and various other mindless drone chatter. Really paints them as sad saps with no will of their own. Samsung does a great job of letting us know they’re Apple devotees waiting in line without mentioning the iPhone 4S nor Apple directly.
Along comes a few people going about their lives, using a cell phone that catches the eyes of the iFaithful. “Wow, what is that?” “What does she have?” “Can I see it? With my hands?” Then the lines of curious onlookers find out they’re salivating over the Samsung Galaxy S II, not something brewed up in Cupertino. The happy SGS II owners are glad to go about their day, instead of standing in line. “This phone is amazing.” “Why don’t you guys just get 4G phones?” are a couple of the responses they give the gawking hipsters. This doesn’t sit too well with the Apple fanatics, one sitting iGoon declares he could “never get a Samsung. I’m creative.” To which his buddy responses “You’re a barista”. Good stuff indeed. The video is pretty funny for some of us as we know people just like those shown in the video. I know one person in particular that acknowledges no other device but Apple. Can’t wait until he sees this one! Hit the jump and watch the video, I think you geeks will appreciate it!.
