It’s getting closer and closer to Final Fantasy XIII-2′s January release date and the game footage keeps pouring in! This time, Square Enix sent over a trailer showing off some of the gorgeously rendered environments. Showcasing locales both familiar and new, the trailer does a good job of representing what probably will amount to only a small fraction of the game itself. Exploring any FF game is a daunting experience as it has more locations than McDonald’s!

Add this to the recently announced New Game+ mode and extras for those of us with a Final Fantasy XIII save and the wait for January 31st is getting to be quite the unbearable ordeal. Almost as unbearable as waiting for Kingdom Hearts 3! C’mon Square Enix, get on that! Hit the jump and check it out for yourselves. Just don’t be mad at me when you have to go back to boring old work!
