Better than sparkly, emo vampires, Zombies are shuffling through the media wasteland looking for tasty brains to snack on. AMC‘s hit series, The Walking Dead, has gained quite the following, spawning a caravan’s worth of merchandise. For those unable to cope with a week of waiting between episodes, The Walking Dead Board game was created. Rolling in a team of survivors, the name of the game is …well survive. Gather weapons, supplies and safe spots to rest from the hordes of undead. Eventually those run out and then you have to fend off your friends too.

If you’re careless, you can get bitten and turn into one of those bad breathed monstrosities. When that happens, you get to chase down your old comrades to scarf on their grey matter. As a zombie, players can surprise the snack-alicious humans or even wreck their supplies. Bite one and they become a new friend on Team Z. If you’re a solitary type person, the game has a single player mode – just like real life!
