Been having problems hoping onto some your usual PSN features? Nothing nefarious going on here, Sony is simply doing that vague “routine scheduled maintenance” today. It started about 11 a.m. Eastern Time and is expected to cause headaches until sometime around midnight Eastern. What exactly is on the fritz? The PS Store, Account Management, New Account Registration, PlayStation Home and the Unlimited Music\Video services. For those curious, it goes for PS3 and PSP.
You can still collect trophies and play games, trophies will sync up once the network is fully running. Some will still be able to keep on keepin’ on bashing friends skulls in but once they pop off, chances are they won’t be able to log back in. Hey at least they’re actually telling us what’s going on, right? It’s just a day, we can deal with it. Just don’t make it any longer!
