All you die hard gamers out there might want to read through this one. We have ran across this kick azz company called Einstein Modz that modz up your gaming controllers…yes yes we know its unfair to the masses that do not have these modz…but remember Don’t Hate the Geek. These controllers are super sick looking. Over on the site you can customize the controller totally to your wishes. They have every color under the rainbow plus you can even get down to if your sticks light up or which mod you want put into the controller.

Need a custom case for your nerdy needs they do all that as well as Mass Effect, Call of Duty Battlefield, Gears of War, looks like they got the shooters all covered! Check out a full review after the break.

I got to get down on two of their modded up controllers first was the Red Toxic. This controller came with red LED’s and had the Theory 2.0 mod on it. First things first was the feel of the controller. It felt really well put together and not a jagged edge on it. The paint job was smooth and looks amazing on it. As I fired it up we noticed that the Xbox LEDS where even red to match the theme…kinda scary anytime the LEDS are red lol. Controller paired up fine and first game chosen was Call of Duty. I turned on the mod and let it go to work. With increased speed shots it seemed like I really had the advantage. The cool thing with Einstein Modz is that most of the controllers have more than one mod built in. I really liked the self programmable mode which allowed me to set my own speed of fire.  I of course was still getting pwned by some 13-year-old that only knew profanity about my mother but what would XBL be without that. Overall I really liked the Red Toxic and it has really became my main controller even for games not supported by the mod. The Kinetic Guarantee really keeps the controller accurate. I have burned through so many controllers there is nothing more annoying when one starts leaning to the left. Thats what this guarantee keeps out of the picture. Each controller is tested to make sure that it meets Einstein’s standards.  Check out the video below for more on that the Kinetic Guarantee and the Theory Modz. From Einstein Modz: The Theory is a 5 mode rapid-fire mod. The first two modes are preset to be perfect speeds for the Call of Duty and Gears of War series. In addition to these there are modes for akimbo rapid fire and a sniper 2 burst shot. The 5th mode is the self programmable mode that allows you to easily change the speed of your guns on the fly, even while you are still in a game!

The next controller I got my hands on was the Earth Crystal. See through green I changed the name of mine to HULK SMASH as I thought it matched me a little better than Earth Crystal. Same light up LED’s here except green to match the whole theme. I went into Call of Duty again with the new beast and hit the mod. This one was loaded down with the Gravitation 2.0 mod. WIth this came all of the features of the Theory Mod but added in the fast reload for all your basic shooters. So not only are you shooting at a faster rate but you are reloading while the other person still has no idea whats even happening. This controller did not have the weight as the Red Toxic as the material was a little lighter to make it see through. We also had an issue with the back door not matching up but Einstein Modz was quick on the fix and overnighted us a new battery door. I prefer the Red Toxic over this but love the modz that came with this one. Lesson is…you can mod each one up the way you want! So crossing the weight of the Red Toxic and the modz from the Earth crystal is a snap and a breeze.  Dont forget the Kinetic Guarantee on all controllers as well. It keeps your shot straight when it really needs to be. Video below.

From Einstein Modz: The Quantum comes with all the rapid fire abilities of the Theory, plus a mode that has the awesome ability to reload several of your favorite guns faster in the call of duty games! Your gun will be reloaded while your enemy is still fiddling around with his ammo clip! The fast reload mode works on COD Black Ops, COD WaW, COD MW2 and COD MW.

Now don’t get me wrong I know modded controllers really take out some of the sport but when just tinkering around online and not competing go for it and have some real fun. I speak from experience you can still get your ass kicked. So play hard or get out right! Check out all the different Modz and some of the OH SO COOL special order ones.
