This no bath-salts-dog-eating fake zombie news. Well it is, but AMC and Put Zombies Back have teamed together to find out whether zombies have a place in today’s society. AMC’s The Walking Dead is due to return for a third series in October and so this stunt is sure to add the ever growing anticipation. However this act was also meant to draw attention to the fact that DISH have dropped AMC and its programmes from its lime up of channels.

According to the Put Zombies Back information page the removal of AMC from the list of supplied channels is due to ”a lawsuit involving an old and unrelated business venture that has nothing to do with AMC”. As for the video I’m surprised that there wasn’t more of a reaction from the citizens of NYC. Personally if I saw a couple of zombies,all of which had been attired and make-upped in the eerily convincing style of The Walking Dead’s own zombies, I would catch the next plane to Australia. Or grab the nearest shotgun.
