NASA and Rovio have teamed up to slide in a new level for Angry Birds Space, the Red Planet. Thanks to the successful landing of the Mars Rover Curiosity, the furious fowl have a new area for their righteous retribution against those egg pilfering pigs. There’s 20 levels in all plus 2 antenna egg levels plus a brand new punching bag, the astronaut pig.
The levels will be filled with erupting volcanoes, asteroids covered in feather singing fire as well as three rovers and landers hidden around. Once they’re found, awesome NASA info and hidden levels will be unlocked, adding a good chunk of gameplay to the already full to the brim game. The update, like all Rovio add ons, is free and available now in the appstore of your choice.
Hit the break and check out the short but sweet trailer…
