Terra Nova took us on an adventurous ride filled with Sci-fi and mystery. Every week, millions of fans tuned in to find out if the Shannons would survive their new home or if the intense Commander Taylor would come to the rescue. Take a look at the ten most unforgettable Terra Nova moments.

 

1. Welcome to Terra Nova

 

 

You cannot forget our first meeting with no-nonsense pioneer, Commander Nathaniel Taylor, who welcomes The Shannons to Terra Nova with a menacing smile but quickly warns them of Terra Nova’s dangers.

 

 

2. Finding the Cure

 

In the fourth episode, “What Remains,” the very sanity of Terra Nova hangs by a thread when Elisabeth, Jim, Malcolm and Taylor come across a terrible virus that causes memory loss, paranoia and, eventually, death.

 

 

3. Feelings

 

 

When an orphaned “Sixer” girl comes to Terra Nova seeking asylum, Jim and Shannon are at odds if they can trust her. Taylor begins to suspect there is a traitor in his midst but when Reynolds admitted his feelings for Maddy, everyone held their breath.

 

 

4. Murder at Terra Nova

 

 

Not even within the confines of its walls is Terra Nova safe from crime. In the shows sixth episode, Terra Nova has its first murder, and Jim must work with Commander Taylor to determine who is guilty of the crime

 

 

5. Maddy’s Mystery

 

 

Everyone watching was both excited and nervous when Maddy found out the truth about who Horton really is. While her fellow citizens celebrated the geologist’s arrival, Maddy was able to find out he was not at all who he claimed to be.

 

 

6. Working With the Enemy

 

Rivals Commander Taylor and “Sixer” Mira fight in the jungle where Taylor finds more information about his missing son. But to combat a prehistoric enemy, the pair must ultimately work together to survive.

 

7. The Mole

 

 

Skye may be only a teenager but she is one of Terra Nova’s veterans having come over in the fifth pilgrimage. Fans were shocked to learn what this friendly and helpful teenager was hiding!

 

8. The Pilgrimage Bomb

 

 

Everything seems on the up and up so the soldiers let their guards down a little – just in time for the bomb that changes everything.

 

9. Father and Son Reunion

 

At long last, Taylor is reaching through to the son he remembers, beyond Lucas’ vengeful notions, and it looks like they might be able to restore their bond, but no oner expects the nail-biting moments that happen next.

 

10. Jim Saves the Day

 

 Jim is often a hero to Terra Nova but will those heroics help him when he returns to 2149? What will be next for the Shannons?
