It’s no secret that many an Android user despises the official Facebook App. It lags, pics won’t show, bugs reside in almost every corner, it’s HTML5. It’s gotten so bad that even Mark Zuckerburg admitted it was a big pile of mistake. iOS users recently benefited from a re-worked and thus better app, mainly because they shredded the HTML5 in favor of native code. So what about us Android peeps?
The good news is that Facebook is in the final testing moments of our own native app. The better news is that the app is also very close to release. How close is unknown but soon is still better than “sometime”. Maybe when it comes down the pipe we can stop firing up the mobile web version and actually get our ‘Book on proper. Someone’s got to do all that lurking and creeping after all!
