What’s more romantic than conquering deep space together?

Candlelit dinners are lame.  A truly romantic gesture would be to take your date on a rip roaring adventure through space, time, or maybe even the land of the dead.  Break out the snacks and treat yourself to a night in with your battle partner.  Go ahead, cancel that reservation at the uppity French restaurant.  Trust us, you won’t regret it when you see what these awesome Co-Op friendly titles have to offer!

Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime (Xbox One, PS4, PC)

What better valentine’s game to play with your sweetheart than one in which your mission is to save love itself?  Maybe all of the gems you collect to power up your ship will make up for the fact that you couldn’t afford to buy that diamond ring this year.

Teamwork is the name of the game in this galactic shooter.  Don’t let the adorable graphics fool you, this is a competitive game.  Those unable to work together will likely find themselves on the wrong end of a space gun.

If you and your battle partner are up for the challenge click here to purchase your copy! If you just so happen to have both an Xbox One and a current Xbox Gold membership, you snag this one for free right now! Nothing says love like freebies!

Characters from Little Big Planet

LittleBigPlanet 3 (PS3, PS4)

Sackboy returns to make the world a little bit brighter.  Who doesn’t love the adorable knitted protagonist of the LittleBigPlanet series?  With the charm and humor to entertain the casual gamer and the story line and game-play seasoned vets expect, this title is the perfect combination for a couple that may not be equally matched in gaming expertise.

Don’t be surprised to find you and your adventure partner getting caught in hours of sandbox play.  Level building has never been so sophisticated within the franchise.  With 16 layers to play with, the level creator can be quite addictive.  You’ve been warned.

To get your fill of the cuddly cuteness of LBP3 purchase it here!

Rayman Legends Characters

Rayman Legends (PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Wii U)

With stunning graphics, inventive game-play, and flawless co-op controls, Rayman Legends is a no-brainer when it comes to a night in with your date. The vivid colors and dynamic scenery continue evolving with each level. Somehow the game manages to call up nostalgia for 90’s co-op adventures while still maintaining a fresh and exciting new presence.
This is easily one of the best co-op games of all time. To grab your copy, click here!

Characters from Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition

Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition (PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Wii U)

Nothing says romance quite like an undead luchador, don’t you think? With graphics inspired by the Mexican heritage it clearly represents and an attitude that says it doesn’t take itself too seriously, Guacamelee! is a blast to play. Although the co-op feature isn’t quite as necessary or integrated as some of the other games on this list, the controls are smooth and the game has a broad appeal.

You might want to purchase some chips & guac for a night spent conquering this action platformer. Pick up the game here!

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection (Xbox One, PS4)

A combo pack of Borderlands 2 and Borderlands The Pre-Sequel with all of the DLC and enhanced local multiplayer? Yes, Please! This is a killer package for Borderlands fans and newcomers alike. If a first-person shooter and an RPG had a baby and then that baby was dropped on its head a few times, you would have something vaguely akin to the fabulously eccentric Borderlands franchise.

If you and your valentine are both gamers, this is the one for you!  Grab your copy here!
