Season six of Netflix‘s The Adventures of Puss in Boots picks up with Puss and his crew returning to San Lorenzo from the Netherworld. It quickly becomes clear that all is not well in his town.

Even though Puss successfully blocked the passageway to the Netherworld, the portal keeps triggering earthquakes that threaten the lives (and sanity) of the townspeople. Puss vows – as always – to end the quakes. But this is Puss we’re talking about here. He keeps getting distracted by sky pirates, the town being overrun by ghosts, and even being conned out of his boots by an evil panther. Swashbuckling is full of the (semi-)unexpected.

Once again, the fate of San Lorenzo (and the world) is in the paws of Puss in Boots. This time, to keep his promise to save San Lorenzo, Puss faces his greatest challenge. He must make a huge sacrifice to stop the earthquakes.

‘The Adventures of Puss in Boots’ Season Six Overview

I’ve been a fan of The Adventures of Puss in Boots since season one. It’s a lifesaver if you have tiny humans in need of entertainment. Season six ups the fun and lessons while still keeping its sense of adventure and story focus. With only 12 episodes all under 30 minutes, it’s the perfect show for mid-day distraction. Trust me, I know; I had an impromptu pint-size visitor today and kept them captivated and giggling for 2 hours while I finished a project.

I’m also not going to sit here and pretend that I, too, wasn’t entertained (there’s a reason I picked Puss in Boots to save me from the clutches of a need tike). The Adventures of Puss in Boots always ups the action, antics, and hilarity. Check it out on Netflix and let us know what you think in the comments!
