Amazon Prime Members! Enjoy Unlimited Storage for Your Photos

written by kimmyink90 November 6, 2014

That’s right Prime members!  Amazon has added yet another perk to having Amazon Prime — unlimited photo storage.  Amazon Prime is a service used to provide customers two day shipping for a subscription fee.  Amazon Prime also includes:  Prime Instant Video, Prime Music, Prime Pantry, Prime Early Access, Kindle Owners’ Lending Library, Kindle First, and Membership Sharing.  You can check out the details of these benefits here.

According to CNET, anyone with a Prime subscription has access to this service and all you have to do is log into your Amazon Cloud Drive and upload your photos there.

Amazon notes to their customers on their website,

“With Prime Photos, the photos you’ve previously uploaded to Cloud Drive and photos you upload in the future will not count against your Cloud Drive storage limit.”

You should know though, that if your subscription expires and you haven’t renewed, your photos will be subject towards the total storage limit that Amazon has for free members (at 5GB per member).

What are your thoughts geeks?  Do you have Amazon Prime?  Do the perks you get with Amazon Prime worth having the subscription?  Do you think you’ll take advantage of this perk?  Let us know in the comments below!
