Super Mario Run Comes to Android
Super Mario Run had a huge release for iOS. The game received mixed reviews, but that didn’t stop iPhone and iPad users all over the world from at least downloading the game to give it a shot. Nintendo has announced that the game won’t be an iOS exclusive for much longer, though. Android users access pre-registration for the game via the Google Play Store.

Super Mario Run launched on iOS devices on December 15th, 2016. In just four days, the game was downloaded an astonishing 40 million times. That number was up to 50 million by the end of the game’s first week. Nintendo has made the game initially free to play, but only for the first few levels. After that, you have to pay $10 to unlock the rest of the game. Nintendo hasn’t released the sales information for the game, but the company’s stock has dropped dramatically since the game’s release and the announcement of their new console, the Nintendo Switch.
