Mass Effect: Andromeda is so highly anticipated that it’s palpable. We’ve been eating up all the info we could get on the game and the one thing gleaned from this last week’s E3 is Choice.
Okay, well more like past choices may matter not. The absolute one tidbit of truth about Andromeda is that the ending choices of Mass Effect 3 have no bearing on the beginning of the hopeful new trilogy. Which is good because I hated what the end choices were and I agonized over them, saving and replaying them, trying to decide what I wanted to be my “official” ME story. Sometimes you make me do bad things Bioware.
The other bit is that with the game coming up next year, info will dry up. We will start to see less and less about the game, per the usual of Bioware. We are told that Andromeda will get a good showing off on this fall’s N7 day, November 7th. That would be nice as I’m already feaning bad for my fix man.
There is no official release date for Andromeda beyond a vague “early 2017” and that could change at any time. It is only going to come out for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC though, that much has been confirmed.
How many geeks are happy they won’t have to worry about what they did with Shep in ME3? I’m breathing one huge sigh of relief. None of the choices made me happy. Drive a Mako down to the comments and run over what you think below!
