The next Transformers movie, dubbed The Last Knight, has been getting some great little hints about who exactly the Autobots will square off against. Now we know who that will be.
The Autobots have faced a few big time bad bosses in their storied careers as champions of first Cybertron and then Earth. The movies have given them mostly Megatron in a couple stages of life and then as Galavtron in the last flick, Age of Extinction. With the Last Knight heading to the silver screen, who exactly is the robot behind the mechanical curtain? Believe it or not, our fearless defenders will square off against the one and only Megatron once again!
Yes, you read that right, Megatron. How? He was destroyed and had his megamanical consciousness resurrected into the Galavtron body. Then he was beat down like a little punk by Optimus and company in AoE. So how in the holy hell is Megatron coming back? Is he rebuilding a body? Is he going to be the classic gun form from the cartoon? Oh please, oh please, oh please!
What do we know about Transformers: The Last Knight? We know Michael Bay is back in the director’s seat, allegedly for the last time and the movie is slated for a June 2017 release date. With Optimus jetting off on an outer space adventure, everyone’s favorite sidekick, Bumblebee, will be leading the Autobots against the Deception threat. One can only assume something causes Optimus to come crashing back, presumably in the nick of time. Details beyond that are very scare.
Where my Transformers fans at? I know everybody likes crapping on Bay’s movies but I enjoy them just to see the giant robots in disguise on the big screen. What do you all think? Roll on down to the comments below and Soundwave off.
