Well, it would appear that we won’t have to wait much longer until we get to see what all the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been building towards since Iron Man.

It was announced today that Avengers: Infinity War will no longer be coming out on its original May 4 release date, but will drop in theaters a week earlier on April 27, everywhere! Yes, EVERYWHERE! We will give you a moment to run around your neighborhood before coming back to read the details.

You back yet? Cool!

So how did this news come about? Well, Twitter of course! Marvel Studios itself tweeted a question asking how excited fans were to see Infinity War on its original release date, and Tony Stark himself, Robert Downey Jr. asked if he could see it sooner and thus, this is where we are right now.

Movies change release dates all the time, but this is a huge one given the amount of hype and anticipation surrounding this particular film and how the prospect of any new Avengers based film send both fans and general audiences into a wild frenzy! This is big damn news man!

Black Panther is still being talked about and discussed among where it stands to people in the overall MCU, and he will most certainly play a huge role in Infinity Wars, which is all good by me.

Though I’m pretty sure we all don’t care why this decision was made, it certainly screwed up our advanced plans and now things gotta changeup. Thanks, Kevin Feige, now I have to postpone my first-ever beach trip!

What say you about the sudden pushup of the release date for the biggest film of 2018? Excited? Upset? What are characters from the Marvel Universe you’re hoping to see in the film in itself? Let us know in the comments!
