The third installment of the MCU’s flagship film series is going to be absolutely jammed with all of our favorites. We will not only get the core group of Avengers, but also Nebula, Gamora, and perhaps a character played by Peter Dinklage. It looks like the entire Guardians of the Galaxy team might make an appearance, with Rocket Raccoon and Drax the Destroyer joining the ranks!

Starting work on a new project. It's secret, though. I can't say what it is. #amidoingthisright

Sean Gunn, who plays Rocket Raccoon through motion-capture, posted this photo on his Instagram. Not only do we get confirmation that he will be in Infinity War, but we also get a good look at a new logo for the movie. We also have confirmation from Dave Bautista of Drax’s involvement. While talking about his brutal schedule shooting the movie, he also told Collider in an interview:

“This is what I know: There are like 64 characters in the Avengers sequels. Everyone’s making a big deal when someone confirms when they’re in it; I think it’s a big deal when someone’s not in it.
“I don’t think anybody who is a current character is not going to be in Infinity War. [laughs] That’s just my opinion. I haven’t gotten confirmation on who all is going to be in the film, but I think that they’re really going to go all-out on this.”

Marvel certainly is going even bigger than they have gone before. Both Infinity War Part I and Part II will be massive, in both scope and importance for the Cinematic Universe. As time goes on, we will be getting more news about who you should be excited to see when the first movie is released in 2018! So, stay tuned to Don’t Hate the Geek as we get word!

Who else do you geeks hope to see in these upcoming movies? Do you think the ensemble cast will be too much for even two parts? Let us know, so we can compare notes!
