Bethesda declares Doom and Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus are coming for Nintendo Switch.
It was announced September 13th that Doom and Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus will be available for the Nintendo Switch. The revamp of the classic game Doom will be released during the holiday season of this year, with multiplayer online and single player campaign.
Wolfenstein 2, announced this year at E3, will be attainable in 2018 for the Switch, but no other information has been confirmed as of yet. Sad face. Though, it will be out October 27, 2017 for Xbox One, PC, and PS4. So, happy face?
So, it looks like Skyrim won’t be hogging all of the fun on Nintendo Switch. Bethesda is becoming a major third-party contributor to Nintendo which comes as a relief to Nintendo who has had problems in the past finding big third-party games to bring to its consoles. However, that no longer seems to be the case, especially because Pete Hines, VP of public relations and marketing at Bethesda, was quoted saying:
We think the Switch is a great console and hope to bring other Bethesda titles to the platform going forward.
An entire lineup of new and different games will be coming to Switch. From the aforementioned games to Resident Evil and L.A. Noir, the console/portable hybrid will be getting a whole stream of more mature content. This is decidedly awesome for anyone who has craved the ability the play their favorite games away from home. Skyrim on the go? I know I need that in my life in a bad way.
But how do you feel about the new games coming to Switch? Will it cause more incentive for you to own one? Are you excited for the new game releases? Let us know your feelz in the comments!
