Elon Musk’s Boring Company is Selling a Flamethrower!

Elon Musk, head of The Boring Company, making a face

The Boring Company is selling a fracking flamethrower! And It’s glorious. Have you ever thought, “I want to pretend I’m in Aliens or The Thing and burn some alien butt”? Now you can for the low, low price of $500.00.

That’s right, it’s the world’s safest flamethrower – whatever that means. Honestly, I don’t care if it’s safe or not; I just want to burn some aliens with it. It looks like great fun and they even sell a slightly overpriced fire extinguisher. Let’s be honest though, if you’re shelling out $500.00 for this flamethrower, another $30.00 for a branded fire extinguisher is not really a big deal. Right now, it’s only on pre-order with an expected ship date of spring 2018.

But Why?

Besides the obvious fun a flamethrower is, why is The Boring Company making one? Also, what the hell is The Boring Company? Well for those who do not know, The Boring Company is focused on boring giant tunnels underground for cars to drive through. The company from real life Tony Stark, Elon Musk, is dedicated to helping bring our highways into the future by placing them underground. They will have elevators to bring you down to the roads where you will be unaffected by weather and be able to travel to your destination faster.

So how does that have absolutely anything to do with flamethrowers? Nothing – at least nothing that we know of. It seems to just be a fun toy to bring awareness and raise more money for this serious company. And hell, it is Elon Musk, and he’s allowed to do some crazy stuff.  Although, he does seem to understand it may not be the greatest idea ever.

Also, there’s the zombie attack side. Some think he’s preparing us for the coming Zombie apocalypse. I mean it’s not like he’s denying it.

He’s just saying he isn’t going to start it.

No matter what, The Boring Company seems like a lot of fun and frankly has made me realize I need a flamethrower in my life. Thanks, Elon Musk.
