The CW now has a full slate on shows based off of characters from DC Comics and their new fall schedule reflects that. Supergirl flies on Monday, The Flash keeps speeding along on Tuesday, Arrow will continue hitting the target on Wednesday, and Legends of Tomorrow is predetermined in time to be on Thursday.
What a line-up and hey, wouldn’t it be something for all these shows to crossover? The Flash and Arrow have made a crossover between them an annual event and The Flash did pop over to Supergirl for an episode. It only makes sense now that you have all these characters to have a story that would feature them all together. Think no more, CW has you covered.
At network upfront presentations today in New York City, CW Chief Mark Pedowitz confirmed that the mega-crossover of the DC shows will happen in December after teasing about it to the press before today. He further stated that it will be their biggest one ever. No argument there, Mark, none at all.
DC Comics might not be killing it with their movies right now, but on TV they are proving very successful. Even with shows outside of the CW with Gotham and Lucifer proving to be big hits over at Fox and Powerless coming to NBC this fall.
Just don’t expect the only other DC show on CW, iZombie to also be involved in the crossover as its off in its own world and looks to remain that way.
So how excited are you? Are you pumped or do you think crossing all four shows over in one week is a bit overkill? Let us know in the comments below!
