Superman and Wonder Woman

Superman and Wonder Woman want you to write for DC ComicsThat’s right. You can apply, right now, for a slot in DC Comics Writer’s Workshop. The deadline for applications is May 31st 2016.

Successful applicants will then participate in the Writer’s Room a 13-week video course in which you’ll learn how to write for DC Comics from a master. Presumably there’ll be some sort of test to see if you graduate from the class, because then they invite a handful from the Writer’s Room to Burbank, California for a series of Master Classes. Then all you have to do is pass the Master Classes and then you’ll be a writer for DC COMICS!!

To apply you’ll need to send them your resume, a 2000 word essay on why you want to write for DC and why DC should want you writing for them, upto 2 samples of your published work, and of course sign the submission agreement.

If you’ve ever dreamt of writing for DC Comics, don’t delay. Start composing your essay and picking out which published writing examples you want to wow them with right now. What are you waiting for? Go!Batgirl tells Nightwing how to write a DC Comic
