DONTNOD Entertainment, developers of the neo-Parisian brawler Remember Me, have announced their next project, Life is Strange. The game follows Max Caulfield as she returns to the fictional Arcadia Bay, Oregon where she’s been gone from for 5 unexplained years. She teams up with her best friend Chloe as the duo investigates the rather uncomfortable disappearance of fellow student Rachel Amber.
Life is Strange is being developed as an episodic game with an emphasis on hand drawn art styles and choice in the storytelling. The game also has a twist for our protagonist as she learns she can rewind time to help solve puzzles and change the flow of history itself.
Life is Strange is in development for the Xbox One, PS4, PS3 Xbox 360 and PC. The game’s release date is yet to be determined. Peep some sweet shots from the game below.
