When you think of Disneyland, you just have to smile. Their rides and characters mixed with California’s sunny weather are part of the reason why that attraction is known as the Happiest Place on Earth. However, Disneyland is also coming up with new and inventive food options to make your stomach happy as well.
Again, Disney is no stranger to coming up with cool things to eat. The Lightsaber churros were a huge hit for their annual May The Fourth Be With You event. Now there is an even cooler food option that is Guardians of the Galaxy themed.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you: Groot Bread.
Whether you’re a fan of full sized Groot or baby Groot (or even teenage Groot that can be seen post credits). This bread will be sure to be a hit with you. The bread comes in two different flavors: regular sourdough and jalapeno cheddar. Fairfax Market in Disney California Adventure park will be selling the deliciously cute bread, so if you are in the Anaheim area, be sure to check it out and let us at Don’t Hate the Geek know what you thought of it!
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 hit theaters back in May and has earned over $133 million worldwide. Disneyland wasn’t the first to transform this blockbuster into something edible. Doritos had a limited promotion chip bag that was sold exclusively through Amazon. The Doritos bag actually plays the entire Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 soundtrack. The bag had a picture of Peter Quill’s Awesome Mix Vol. 2 and only required headphones to hook up to the music player. Unfortunately, that promotion is no longer available, but who knows what they might come up with when there is a third movie upcoming.
