With Disney also having Lucasfilm and Marvel in it’s ever-growing arsenal of franchises, it was already a foregone conclusion that they’d be bringing their A-game to D23 whilst at the same time try to steal a little thunder from some small event coming up called San Diego Comic-Con. Never heard of it…
Disney and Pixar have been the first to reveal a few chunks of info regarding their future releases.
Pixar’s Creative Officer John Lasseter spoke to IGN about The Incredibles sequel and it turns out they’re wasting no time at all!
“It starts right as the first one finishes, so it just carries on. It starts with the Underminer and a big old set piece. You know that at the end of the first movie when he comes up and you see the family dressed as superheroes, well that’s where we start this movie.”
D23 has already screened an impressive set piece featuring Elastigirl and buzz is predictably high.
The now officially titled Toy Story 4 will move forward with Josh Cooley in the Directors chair replacing Lasseter. Josh Cooley served as storyboard artist for Ratatouille, Cars, Cars 2, and Up so this fourquel is surely in good hands. We know that this installment will focus on Woody and Bo Peep so we can assume most of the regular characters will be returning.
Saw new Thor3 trailer today. Amazing!!! Guess who wins in a fight between Thor and Hulk? There seems to be a little confusion. You'll see.

Could this jump the Comic-Con queue and be shown at D23? Let’s hope so!
And look at this statue of Thanos on the convention floor! Looks like we’ve got our first glimpse at the big bad’s look for the upcoming Avengers movie!
