Square Enix just released some screenshots for the latest role-playing game that is set to release in Japan May 27th, though there is no official word if Dragon Quest Heroes II: The Twin Kings and the Prophecy of the End will be coming westward. What we do have, however, are a few awesome screenshots, details on how players can take on the monster role, and more info on the four Devas.

Square Enix also spilled the beans on an very interesting aspect to the upcoming game – the players can now play as a monster! The monster in question is a cyclops that goes by the name “Atlas”. With some power heavy moves, this will definitely add an interesting dynamic to the game play.
The game is set to release in Japan May 27th for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and Vita. No news on a western release but we will definitely keep you posted on if that changes! As a huge Dragon Quest fan myself, I will keep all cross-able appendages crossed for the hopes of it coming our way.
