Beauty and the beast dance scene from new trailer

First Look at Emma Watson’s Singing in Beauty and the Beast

Ever since the release of the trailer just a few months ago we have been captivated by the pure beauty of it’s animation. All of our favorite characters come to life with such remarkable ease and grace that is rarely seen in imaginations, let alone movies. However, the style is not enough to make us fall head-over-heels for this movie. As discovered by other prior Disney movies, the animation can be wonderful, but if the singing is a disappointment then critics and audiences alike might as well shoot down the whole movie.

Luckily for us, an Instagram user The_West_Wing found a singing Belle doll at Toys R’ Us the other day, which one of the films producers then shared on his page. However this version, while lovely, was terribly hard to hear.

Thankfully, the next day Beauty and the Beast released an official non-garbled version for us! The audio clip features who we can assume to be Emma Watson singing Something There from the original film. This song takes place when Belle starts to fall in love with the Beast, noting that there is ‘..something there that wasn’t there before’. Listen to it below!

In case you’ve forgotten exactly what this song sounds like, you may listen to the original animated version here!

While the Instagram user took the time to photograph a picture of the Hasbro doll for us, it currently cannot be found. It may very well be sold-out, but it isn’t even listed on the Toys R’ Us website. If you would like to go on a treasure hunt and find it, then link it below in the comments!
