The First Official Trailer of Wonder Woman

One of the most eagerly anticipated live-action superhero films of all time has of course always been Wonder Woman.

For years and years people have waited to see the last third of DC’s Trinity (Superman and Batman being the other two) get her own solo big screen adventure and the wait will soon be over when the Patty Jenkins directed film releases next June and we finally have the first full official trailer! Take a look at it below!

Man is there a lot in this trailer. We finally get a good look at Themyscria and its bright vibrancy before that transitions to Chris Pine’s Steve Trevor and his solider happening upon the peaceful island. More noticeable is showing Wonder Woman’s true nature in a defender and fighter for all. She’s always been one of the more diplomatic superheroes in the genre and while it’s great to see her kicking some ass here, it’ll be cool to see that side as well and how lead actress Gal Gadot will balance that. Also how cool is it to see her blocking the bullets with her bracelets? Very cool I’d say.

We see Queen Hippolyta (Robin Wright) and Wonder Woman’s adjusting to man’s world both on and off the battlefield of the World War I setting. No idea asĀ of yet as to who exactly is our villain, but we can be sure more of that will be known before the movie comes out.

The trailer has upped its humor quota with the help of some choice lines from Pine and Etta Candy played by Lucy Davis. This might calm some of those still not too hot on the DC Extended Universe from the tones and styles of Man of Steel and Dawn of Justice.

We want to know your thoughts, what did you think of the trailer? Are you excited? Is this going to be the best DC Comics movie? Let us know in the comments below!

Wonder Woman comes out in theaters on June 2, 2017.
