Game of Thrones Witcher 3 Easter egg

Any fan of both Game of Thrones and The Witcher series of games and books can agree that Geralt of Rivia could probably fit somewhere in Westeros. It seems that game developers CD Projekt RED are fans of the show as well and have the same idea. The new expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, titled, Blood and Winehas an Easter egg of an NPC (Non Playable Character) that highly resembles a beloved character from Game of Thrones. Check out the video below:

That’s right folks, Arya Stark has (unofficially) made her way into Witcher territory. In the clip, you can hear the unnamed NPC say such things as, “My brother gave me a sword. I named it Needle.” and “Is it true? Is winter coming?”

Throughout my multiple playthroughs, I’ve found a ton of Easter eggs such as Dungeons & Dragons references, a Gwent card of an archer that has the quote, “I aim for the knee. Always.” An obvious reference to Syrim. Then there is my favorite, the Weeping Angels from Doctor Who.
