Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy have confirmed that they are willing to hop on their brooms and reunite as the Sanderson sisters for a Hocus Pocus sequel.  Hocus Pocus is a Disney movie that was released in 1993 about three evil witches who were brought back 300 years after their death to fulfill a prophecy that was made.  They were then to immortalize themselves by taking the youth from the children of Salem.

Midler has reportedly updated her Reddit profile to state,

“Inundate the Disney company, because I have canvassed the girls and they are wiling to do it, but we have no say in it, so if you want a HOCUS POCUS 2, ask the Walt Disney company. You have been SO adorable. This has been most enlightening. SISTAHS!”

Now it’s up to Disney to decide whether or not a sequel will be given the greenlight, however we think that if enough fans demand for it, it could happen!  Najimy reportedly wrote to BuzzFeed News in an email,

“I have read Bette’s quote and I agree…  The outpouring of love from Hocus-ites has been astounding. The creativity of their Sanderson sisters costumes, posters, artwork, t-shirts, statues, TV stills, photos, compliments and line quotes have blown up social media and I want them to know … We see and appreciate it all. When a film is being shot, you never quite know the impact.. If it’ll be a hit or a miss, and..with this one … we hear y’all loud and clear!”

Sarah Jessica Parker replied to a Tweet from BuzzFeed News’ Jarett Wieselman when he inquired about the possibility of her reuniting for a second run.  She replied,

There you have it geeks. Do you think Disney should give it a go for a second movie?  Will you be easily put under the Sanderson sisters’ spells?  Come little children…  I’ll take thee away…
