Avengers: Infinity War is finally here and we get to learn what Thanos is all about at last. I am most pumped for the various character interactions. However, I need to give you a quick warning. Avengers: Infinity War will make you feel things. Yes, even you, one who never feels things. Just giving you a heads up.
I got the chance to attend a midnight (not really midnight) screening of Avengers: Infinity War on Thursday and I have returned with the need to prepare you in the most spoiler-free way of what emotions you will experience.
So, here you go. Uh, I’m here to talk if you need me after the film. *Sits in therapist chair*.
You Will Have the Patience of a Three-Year-Old
Not during the actual movie of course, but the previews that play just before Avengers: Infinity War seem quite a bit lengthier than usual. Of course, this is in part due to the excitement of the movies. Yes yes Chris Pratt dinosaurs OK young Han Solo, sooooo when can we start the movie?
‘Infinity War’ Will Make You Laugh Your Ass Off
This movie is funny as hell. The opening credits of Avengers: Infinity War should really have a warning about choking on your popcorn mid-laugh. The comedic timing of all of the characters and their interactions are absolute gold.
There’s No Way Around It; You Will Cry, and Not Just a Little
Grief is a strong emotion that can take over out of nowhere. I say this to you as a precaution and not as a spoiler. I’m not going to reveal any details as to why. You will need to prepare your heart, bring tissues, and have a friend at the ready to talk to after. Maybe go to your nearest supermarket and buy some Ben and Jerry’s ice cream.
What intense feelings did you feel during Avengers: Infinity War? Pour your heart out in the comments!
