Inhumans yanked from schedule! Is this the end?

written by Chad "LoganDX" G. April 23, 2016

So the beginning of Marvel’s Phase 3 is right around the corner, what with Captain America: Civil War dropping and we geeks are salivating at what is going to be clearly a mind blowing phase. Doctor Strange, Thor: Ragnarok, Inhumans… well I guess we can hold off on that last one.

Yes, that’s right, the royal family has been ganked from at least the phase 3 schedule and no one is certain if it will get a new date or not. Hands are most certainly in the air right now. This isn’t a sharp reversal of what Marvel Studios bigwig Kevin Feige had to say about Inhumans earlier when stating they would see a possible pushback. I don’t think fans quite expected this though.

As fans of Marvel properties know, they’ve tried with mixed results to bring the Inhumans to the small screen on TV’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Now I’m a fan of the show but I haven’t quite gotten caught up on my dvr so I don’t know where they are in that section of the storyline, I can’t pass judgement. Some peeps hate it and some love it.

What does this all mean for the big screen adventures of Black Bolt and Co? Not even Feige knows for certain apparently. We here at DHTG will keep our ears to the rumor mill to find out when Inhumans will (hopefully) come back. In the mean time, make sure you go see Captain America: Civil War on May 6 and root for your team.

Lemme hear it geeks, what’s your take on all this mess? Are you bummed that Inhumans has been pulled or glad? Would it have been Marvel’s first flop? We have those handy comments, go ahead and use them!
