To say Game of Thrones is huge is akin to pointing out my love of spicy wings, nothing new is really being said.
The seventh season of the HBO juggernaut is well in full swing and its recent fourth episode, “The Spoils of War” ended with a massive battle as Daenerys Targaryen rode in on her trusted dragon, Drogon and led an ambush on Jamie Lannister and his army.
Among the people involved, fan favorite Bronn was there, an immensely loved fan-favorite character who suddenly became a much disliked figure after shooting Drogon out the sky. One person who certainly didn’t like it was the postman for Bronn’s actor, Jerome Flynn.
Flynn recently spoke about the episode and filming the epic battle. “I was surprised when I was watching it. I spent weeks on that sequence, but I was on the edge of my seat, the adrenaline was running — they really nailed it.”
Then that was followed up by him revealing that people are so mad he shot one of Daenerys’ dragon out of the sky that his own postman won’t speak to him. Well that just shows you what a big deal the show is, although now I bet Flynn might not know when his recent Amazon order came in.
Again, that level of investment goes to show how much people love the story and characters of Game of Thrones.
Though Flynn wasn’t so outright about whenever or not we’ll be seeing him on tonight’s episode, stating, “I think it depends on if you care for him. If you’re really angry he’s been shooting at Drogon, then maybe not.”
