Just one step closer to an Arkham Collection Remaster!

Thanks to the interwebz and an anonymous Gamestop employee, we have what appears to be the first concrete proof of a Batman Arkham HD Collection for the current gen consoles.

The collection is supposed to be the end all, be all versions of both Batman: Arkham Asylum and Arkham City. This means we get super polished cuts of both games and all of the previously released downloadable content in one disc. Of glaring absence is the hated/not hated Arkham Origins (personally I didn’t mind it) but that could be because it wasn’t developed by Rocksteady.

If the above image is to be believed, and right now we’re going to believe it just because, the game drops for Xbox One and PS4 June 10 with pre orders going live as early as tomorrow, April 19.

What’s awesome about this is it brings the Rocksteady Batman Arkham Trilogy to a complete close on the current gen consoles. It’s great for those that haven’t played them yet (under a rock much?) and for those, like me, who are looking for a good excuse to play them again. As with all of the HD Remasters, we’re talking more achievements/trophies and that’s always good.

Alright geeks, both Arkham and Batman fans. Tell me, what’s your confidence level on this little tidbit? I’m going mid-high to high. We’ve heard rumblings of it in the past so this is just more concrete proof. Would you buy it (again)? Use them comments, we love to hear from you!
