A geek looking to get their own little Padawan into Star Wars now has more great reading material to add to their shelves! For many little ones, the best parts of the series are the lightsabers and interesting looking characters who talk funny. There are animated shows, but for the most part, the storyline goes right over the heads of preschool age children. Now, they can learn their ABC’s and 123’s while jump starting their Star Wars knowledge.

Obi-123 is a follow up to ABC-3PO by Calliope Glass and Caitlin Kennedy that adds a little fandom to learning. Katie Cook’s cute illustrations, along with catchy poems, use Star Wars references to make learning more fun.

It’s clear a lot of love went into creating these books to help teach our youngest geeks both their basics and the ways of the force.

The description for Obi-123:

“ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR

Counting with Star Wars is hardly a chore!

From the chosen ONE to a transport of TWENTY

This book is full of numbers aplenty!

So, Padawans, prepare, get ready, get set

For a numerical lesson you’ll never forget!”
