This is what it’s like when wallets cry, the Steam Summer Sale starts June 23rd.

It’s an annual tradition, Steam puts a metric buttload (official unit of measurement) of games on sale for their Summer Sale and we empty our wallets on handfuls of games we might only play once, if that. What’s always up in the air is when said sale starts but, thanks to PayPal, we know the when the 2016 start date is.

PayPal UK let their Twitter account do the talking, June 23rd is when everyone needs to have a spare $20 to buy about 100 games. If you don’t want to use a credit/debit card, there’s always those handy, dandy Steam gift cards that can be purchased just about anywhere anymore.

I love the Steam sales. Frugal gamers can swoop in and gobble up a lot of games to keep them occupied for another six months when the next semi annual sale hits. Plus, the games aren’t junk like some would expect. I’ve seen several AAA titles put up in the sales, some with bundles full of other kickass games. Full of so much win!

What do my PC gamers think about this?  Love the Steam sales? Does your wallet/significant other hate them? While you’re downloading you’re 100th game, sound off below in the comments below!
