Loot Crate is a popular subscription service where gamers and geeks alike can get a mystery box full of nerdy goodness. One item, however, couldn’t stand the heat in the kitchen. Literally.
The Infinity Gauntlet Oven Mitt was featured in one of the monthly boxes. Looters were excited to see it because anyone who is a fan of Thanos (which who wouldn’t be?) from the Marvel verse got a chance to bring the powers of the multiverse right in their own home: Time, Space, Mind, Soul, Reality, and Power. I guess it was too much for us mere mortals to handle, because Loot Crate just rushed an urgent recall message to their subscribers warning them to cease usage of this product immediately!
The following message was sent out earlier today, June 3rd:
I don’t cook – like, at all – so as a subscriber myself I never had any issues. It can’t burn my flesh if it just hangs on a nail decoratively, but other looters – looters that actually know how to use the different items received – weren’t so lucky.
