I mean, did you really think Starbucks was going to give up that easy? With the recent popularity of the limited edition Unicorn Frappuccino, there is now the  Dragon Frappuccino.

The Unicorn Frappuccino craze was huge, but also quick. Only lasting for about a week. But the demand was high enough to start another magical drink.

While the Unicorn Frappuccino was a sweet and sour concoction, this new drink leaves it out and has a whole new taste. It also isn’t technically on the menu, so it’s one of those Secret Menu Items. So you don’t annoy your barista by just demanding a Dragon Frappuccino, you will make them much happier if you know the ingredients to it.

The Dragon Frappuccino is made of a few things. It’s a Green Tea Frappuccino mixed with vanilla bean powder and berry cup swirl. Be sure to ask for those ingredients so you don’t have your barista desperately trying to find all of the ingredients themselves.

Apparently, with the roll out of the Unicorn Frappuccino, there was a ton of drama to be had. Not that Starbucks is a stranger to drama, but the Unicorn Frappuccino kept things interesting.

Ingredients began to run out left and right. There was a rumor that each store did not have enough ingredients rationed out to each store. So most places ended up running out well before the end of the new promotion.

Hesitant to give the new mythical drink a try? Don’t worry, your friends at Don’t Hate the Geek plan to have a review coming out shortly. We will brave the crowds and get our taste pallets ready.

What do you think of the new Dragon Frappuccino? Have any of you guys asked for it? Do you think Starbucks is doing way to much? Is there a better drink that we should try at Starbucks? Let us know in the comments below!
