It's a Pinball table

Now that we have all watched binged and devoured Marvel’s Luke Cage, that is if Netflix still have their servers up and running, all attention is going towards Luke’s best friend forever, Danny Rand AKA Iron Fist.

Iron Fist will be the last Marvel TV show on Netflix before him, Luke, Matt Murdock AKA Daredevil, and Jessica Jones team up to form The Defenders. But when will we see Iron Fist unleash his inner chi? Netflix released a very brief teaser video today that announced the show will premiere on March 17 next year. You can take a look yourself below.

That’s not just all we got from the series. A new photo was also released via Games Radar that shows series star Finn Jones in the middle of some action and Netflix has also put out an updated synopsis of the series as well.

“Fifteen years after being presumed dead in a plane crash, Danny Rand (Finn Jones) mysteriously returns to New York City determined to reclaim his birthright and family company. However, when a long-destined enemy rises in New York, this living weapon is forced to choose between his family’s legacy and his duties as the Iron Fist.”

The springtime release date for Iron Fist fits well into the pattern Netflix has established for launching their Marvel Comics shows. Daredevil debuted in April of 2015 and premiered its second season in March earlier this year. Jessica Jones and Luke Cage both got released in the fall after Daredevil. So with Iron Fist coming out in March, it seems that we should look for The Defenders to come out sometime next fall.

Well time to start meditating in order to make the wait for Iron Fist bearable.

How excited are you about Iron Fist? Still think Finn Jones is right for the role? What do you hope for the series? Let us know in the comments below!
