If your idea of a marathon is the complete opposite of lacing up your running shoes, have I got good news for you. Rejoice! For Netflix has offline viewing available for Windows 10. Never get up from your bed to check your router again.

Netflix rolled out an update about 4 months ago. Offline viewing became available to iOS and Android users. However, now you don’t have to huddle around that tiny screen.

Going on a trip soon? Internet access not working? Netflix Marathoners now have a way to only leave their bed for bathroom breaks. Yes, even after their cell phone dies.

So how do you start your latest Netflix marathon on your laptop? Simply go to the Windows 10 app (make sure you have the latest version) and look for the ‘download’ button next to the title you want. You will also get an option to stream either standard quality or high quality video. Unfortunately, not everything on Netflix isĀ available for offline viewing just yet. However, there are plenty of titles to keep you hibernated for a little while.

Now I remember, way back in 2015, Netflix actually didn’t want to release an offline viewing option. Which was silly because waiting for a DVD to arrive in the mail was on its way out. I’m glad they decided to go with the customer demands and offer this option.

The decision could have more to do with their current competition than their customer base. There are just way too many options to stream content online. Netflix does not want to finish last in this marathon.

Continue watching? Yes, Netflix. I have not gotten my life together in the last four hours.

So tell me what you guys think? What shows are you looking forward to downloading? How long has it been since you’ve been outdoors? Let me know in the comments below.
