New Comic-Con Footage Unites the Justice League!

written by Jordan Cobb July 22, 2017

One of the most highly anticipated things coming out of San Diego Comic-Con this year was of course always going to be the footage of Justice League from the Warner Bros. big showcase panel in the famous Hall H and now fellow geeks, we have that footage for you right down below!

What’s great here is to see the continuity of the overall DC Extended Universe stay alive and being a main point towards the story of the film. Plus, we get our first good look at our villain, Steppenwolf who shows up in Themyscira first of all places. Can’t say I saw that coming at all.

My first thing of note is yeah the usual color palette of the DCEU remains, but it looks slightly brighter than usual. Maybe the success of Wonder Woman has truly rubbed off on the film of the universe. Let’s hope.

Wonder Woman is still a highlight, I’m liking what I see with Aquaman, and Affleck is still really good as Batman. Ezra Miller I’m excited to see more of as The Flash, but man I still just don’t care for how Cyborg is designed. He looks like a smaller version of something you’d find in Michael Bay’s Transformers films.

Effects look good and for as much as I’ve made my feelings about Zack Snyder’s style of directing known before, but this does have an epic feel to it and I feel like we kinda need that for the very first live-action adventure of the Justice League in theaters. Now let’s just hope the script and really provide the bang for our buck!

What did you think of the trailer? How excited are you? Who is your favorite Justice League member? Let us know in the comments below!

Justice League comes to theaters on November 17.
