Next Year’s ‘Assassin’s Creed’ Leaked and Takes Place in London

The next Assassin’s Creed, that will be released next year, will take place in 19th century London.  According to Kotaku, screenshots of a gameplay video have been leaked.  The next installment of the Assassin’s Creed series is said to be titled Assassin’s Creed Victory and is still being developed by Ubisoft in Quebec.

Gameplay will still have classic similarities to the series, but with the new era there will be new details and features for players to interact with.  Such things include riding on top of moving trains and horse-driven buggies and using a grappling hook to get around the city.

Kotaku reports on a statement released by Ubisoft in regards to the leak,

“It is always unfortunate when internal assets, not intended for public consumption, are leaked. And, while we certainly welcome anticipation for all of our upcoming titles, we’re disappointed for our fans, and our development team, that this conceptual asset is now public. The team in our Quebec studio has been hard at work on the particular game in question for the past few years, and we’re excited to officially unveil what the studio has been working on at a later date. In the meantime, our number one priority is enhancing the experience of Assassin’s Creed Unity for players.”

Assassin’s Creed Victory will be released for Playstation 4, Windows PC, and Xbox One.  What do you think geeks?  Do you play the AC series?  Which one has been your favorite so far?  Do you think this will be a good addition?  Be sure to check out the screen shots courtesy of Kotaku and let us know what you think in the comments below!
