After what has turned out to be a pretty bumpy road for Niantic with the insanely popular mobile game Pokemon GO looks like they are starting to have enough with cheaters. With the recent shutdown of popular Pokemon helpers like Pokevision and some others Niantic was starting to ramp up their arsenal to combat the cheaters of the game. Others found ways of moving their GPS around to where Pokemon where (spoofing). Niantic was only slapping wrists with temporary bans preventing players from playing for a few hours…until now.
Your account was permanently terminated for violations of the Pokémon GO Terms of Service. This includes, but is not limited to: falsifying your location, using emulators, modified or unofficial software and/or accessing Pokémon GO clients or backends in an unauthorized manner including through the use of third-party software.
Reading the above quote flat-out tells you that if you are caught cheating that you will be permanently banned…do not pass go, do not collect any Pokemon. So for those of you out there using software or even down to simple maps online be very careful and know what you are risking.
With all of the recent issues and the shutdown of other programs like Pokevision what do you think? Let us know in the comments how you feel about the path Niantic is taking Pokemon GO.
