The ambitious and vast open world game by the name of No Man’s Sky seems to be delayed according to sources that had spoken to Kotaku. There has been no official release date after the delay, but it is said to be pushed back until either July or August.
The game was originally due to drop June 21st of this year, however according to the source that spoke to Kotaku and is an employee of the popular gaming retail chain GameStop, there were materials in regards to marketing that were received today about No Man’s Sky’s release date. The stores were told that the date for release was not correct and they should cover it up with a label that said “Coming Soon.”
No Man’s Sky is being developed by a small development company by the name of Hello Games which is based in the UK, and has not yet commented in regards to the rumor. The concept for the game was originally revealed in 2013 and has received a lot of media attention from all corners of the world. It’s unfortunate that there is a delay, but one can only hope that it’s not something that’s detrimental to the game. Although, one can except a game of this magnitude to run into some kind of hiccup, especially when we have been told that this in-game universe is so extensive.
